Creating consistent and capable brands.

I design brands that span the digital world and the physical world. Then I provide tools that simplify the daily tasks involved in managing a brand, like templates and guidelines.

Brand Strategy

Even for the simplest of brands, a strategic approach builds meaning into design decisions. So at the start of each brand identity project, we discuss your audience, values, personality, and positioning.

About Emily

As someone with a lifelong penchant for art, I found my way into the design industry eight years ago. After working at agencies and a nonprofit organisation, in 2020 I founded my own practice. This let me focus on the work I like most: designing brands for socially responsible businesses.

I’m driven by a desire to help businesses express their personality and message. Through a strategic process, I shape fitting brands with a clear perspective. As a result, my clients can impact like-minded customers and cultivate loyal audiences.

From my studio in New Zealand, I’ve collaborated with brands from Australia, the US, Sweden, and more.

“Since Emily has done our design work we’ve had an increase in notoriety and recognition, which has translated to increased sales. We finally have a style that appeals to our audience and aligns with who we are. We’ve also had plenty of positive word-of-mouth feedback! It’s definitely worth it to work with a designer who has such a good eye and is so easy to collaborate with.”

“Emily’s style resonates with me: clean, confident, tactful. But she is also able to cut through the noise. Before working with her I felt frustrated in my search for a designer who was professional but still exciting. I lacked clarity around the best design choices for my brand. Emily guided me through the process and the result is everything I hoped for.”

“It has been incredibly inspiring to work with Emily over the years. She takes all of our ideas, the good, the bad and the ugly, and forms them into something coherent and special. Working with her we’ve come to understand the importance of the finer details of design. She is collaborative and open to exploration, and we’re always happy with the final result.”
