Arête is an architecture firm based in Wellington and Lake Hāwea. After growing their client base organically for several years, they needed to improve their image to position themselves as leaders in their niche.

While shaping their brand strategy, Emily discovered they needed to strike a balance between premium and personable. So their identity is clean and polished, with subtle quirks that add warmth.

Arête’s work drew visitors to their old website, but they left without inquiring. So when redesigning their site, the goal was to encourage more of the right people to get in touch. Emily analysed their ideal clients’ needs and shaped the site’s content around them. Their new site is clear, concise, and intuitive, with a few natural invitations to inquire placed throughout.
