Object Office is an architecture and design studio based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. As their first built projects came up, they needed a brand identity that reflected their ethos and drew like-minded people to their work.

Their work is founded on time-tested design principles. Rather than relying on unnecessary extras, they carefully refine a project’s form, space, and materials to create the best result. This is reflected through a utilitarian approach to their branding – using simplified layouts, a single characterful typeface, and a single strong colour. The result is striking in its minimalism, driven by a concept that was never compromised.

A central challenge was deciding what imagery to use across their website and Instagram while their built projects were still in progress. As a solution, their stylised diagrams of work are featured prominently – alongside professional photography of the build process. As their library of finished photography grows, the site is designed to showcase it seamlessly.
