Rensburg & Co. is an architecture office doing commercially-minded, values-based work in regional Queensland. They sought an identity that would highlight their director’s experience while making them memorable.

Through structured conversation and workshops, we discovered we needed to highlight their strong work ethic and capability, but also their sense of care and openness. The tone is set through typography that feels undeniably intelligent, yet warm. Their colour palette is grounded in a bright off-white, while rotating through pops of blue, wheat, and teal. Weighty line motifs continue the theme of playful pragmatism.

Rensburg & Co. is focused on the impact of their work on clients, communities, and the land. While other practices often feature more technical or geometric illustrations of work – highlighting design details – we utilised imperfect sketches that give a glimpse into the meaningful whole.
